If your passport expires within a specified time frame, you may not be able to enter the country. If there is a little one on your road tip, make sure to stop the car every three hours or so. Breaks give you the chance to stretch out and go to the bathroom. Motion sickness in a young child can often be prevented by allowing him to get out of the car once in awhile.
